A calm process, end to end.
Building a home should feel considered, not chaotic. Here's exactly how we work — every step, in plain English.

Discover
We meet on your block, or over coffee. You tell us what you want, what you can spend, and what you're worried about. We listen — then talk straight.

Design
Our architectural team tailors a Saltwood plan to your land. North-facing living, eave depth, ceiling heights, the lot. You see 3D renders, not blurry brochures.

Quote in Full
Every line item. Site costs, slab class, finishes, landscaping, blinds, the letterbox. The number you sign is the number you pay.

Build
Same site supervisor from slab to handover. Weekly photo updates. Fixed timeline. We're loud about progress and louder about problems.
Asked, and honestly answered.
How long does a Saltwood build take?+
A typical single-storey custom home runs 28–34 weeks from slab. Two-storey homes 36–44 weeks. We lock the timeline in your contract — not a target, a contract.
What does "fully quoted" actually mean?+
It means we do site costs, soil tests, full selections and full landscaping allowance before you sign. No PC sums that double on selection day. No surprise variations.
Do you build on sloping or acreage land?+
Yes. We're set up for SEQ blocks — coastal sand, hinterland clay, hill-slope acreage. We'll walk your land before quoting and tell you honestly if it's a good fit.
Can I make changes during the build?+
Yes, but we'll always tell you the cost and timeline impact before you commit. Most clients change very little — because the design is locked in before the slab is poured.
